Project Overview

Science Hall West is a 67,000-square-foot addition that expands William Paterson University’s science teaching and research capabilities. The facility includes 18 modular research laboratories, 12 teaching laboratories, contemporary classrooms, and collaborative spaces designed to strengthen interaction between students and faculty.

A three-level atrium connects the addition to the existing Science Building, while two 75-seat lecture halls support traditional and interactive instruction. Digital technology, wireless connectivity, gathering areas, and natural light create a modern environment for undergraduate education and scientific research.

Research Laboratories

Eighteen modular research laboratories support undergraduate studies, faculty-led research, and collaborative scientific investigation.

Teaching + Technology

Twelve teaching laboratories, technology-equipped classrooms, and two 75-seat lecture halls provide flexible environments for upper-level science instruction.

Campus Connection

A three-level atrium links the addition with the existing Science Building while providing natural light, student gathering areas, and informal collaboration space.
