Designed by Bjarke Ingels Group, the precinct is organized as a series of stacked volumes that separate key program areas while creating a distinctive civic presence. Its exterior combines sandblasted concrete with large rectangular windows, referencing the solid masonry character of historic New York City police stations while presenting a more open and contemporary identity.
