Project Overview
The Green Lane Building is a six-story, 102,275-square-foot mixed-use academic facility that serves as a prominent gateway to Kean University’s Union campus. The building houses the Robert Busch School of Design and expanding business programs, combining academic, administrative, retail, dining, and event spaces within one distinctive campus destination.
The first floor includes a Barnes & Noble college bookstore and café, while the upper levels provide classrooms, administrative offices, design studios, collaborative areas, a conference center, and a rooftop terrace with views of New York City. Its undulating glass façade, exposed concrete structure, and irregular geometry reinforce the building’s focus on innovation, creativity, and interactive learning.
