Project Overview

Bradley Barracks is the largest facility renovated through the United States Military Academy’s Cadet Barracks Upgrade Program. The six-story, 305,221-square-foot renovation modernized the historic cadet residence with upgraded infrastructure, utilities, interior finishes, bathrooms, storage, study areas, and collaborative spaces for 824 cadets.

The phased project allowed portions of the barracks to remain occupied during construction. Work also included exterior and building-envelope improvements, modern mechanical and electrical systems, updated lighting, water-efficient plumbing, and renovated basement areas for cadet storage, recreation, and building services. The completed facility meets standards equivalent to USGBC LEED v4 Silver.

Cadet Living Spaces

Updated cadet rooms, bathrooms, storage, study areas, and collaboration zones provide modern living and learning environments for 824 cadets.

Building Modernization

New mechanical, electrical, plumbing, life-safety, communications, and utility systems bring the 1969 barracks up to current operational and energy standards.

Phased Construction

A coordinated phased approach allowed Bradley Barracks to remain partially occupied while renovations progressed throughout the six-story facility.
