The College of New Jersey

The 72,000-square-foot building, which replaces the aging Forcina Hall, will feature 20 classrooms, a 165-seat tiered auditorium, a multipurpose room that can hold close to 200 and a cafe on the first floor, as well as space for students to meet and work on projects and offices for faculty, staff and centers related to the majors that fall under the school’s purview.

The building, designed in 2008, includes a multipurpose classroom for science, technology, engineering and math. The ceiling in part of the room will be eliminated so that students can see the mechanical and structural systems as part of the learning process.
